I am pleased with how this tacked couch throw turned out! Cindy came to me at work and asked if I could take her Andy Griffith shirts and make a throw for her. We got all the details worked out and this is what was made.

Here are all the blocks laid out in their final design. For the top and bottom I took a single 15x15 block and halved it. One half went to the top, the other half went to the bottom. The 9 main designs went in the middle. Don't you just love the Barney one in the top left corner?
Here it is completed, hanging on my cutting table.

We went with a navy blue flannel for the back and border. Each corner was tacked with navy thread.

Cute little x's in each corner, this is what "tacking" looks like without buttons.
